On the UPPhA election

First, I did not win the position of President of the University of the Philippines Pharmaceutical Association. 6 out of 10 from our party C.H.A.N.G.E. won. Congratulations! πŸ™‚

Second, I want to thank everyone who supported me and who supported C.H.A.N.G.E. Thank you for believing in us and in our capabilities. Thank you for trusting in us. πŸ™‚ Let us continue to advocate for CHANGE.

Third, I was honestly very sad when I heard the news… But it was a good fight. I did my best and I did not regret anything during the campaign. What happened was God’s will. Not winning the election was part of his perfect plan for me.

I am happy that I will still be able to continue serving the students through The Manila Collegian. Rest assured that next year, we will continue releasing fortnightly. I am happy because now, people are reading Kule. After so many years, we have regained the trust of our publishers, the students. We will continue to fight for you! We will continue to rally for the right of every student. πŸ™‚

I am happy that I will still continue to be a member of PROPharm. Go PROPharm! Let us strengthen our campaign on our advocacies. πŸ™‚ Let us continue to serve not only PROPharm members, not only the CP students, but also the Filipinos as a whole. πŸ™‚

I am happy that I am still a Registered Pharmakwentista through AKKAP. πŸ˜€

I am happy that I will be able to focus more on my studies next year. This is an opportunity to “upgrade” my GWA. πŸ˜›

I am happy that I will be able to focus more on my business… On my personal business Anthea… and also on our group business JEMS. Thank you for the support superfriends!

I did not win in the election… but I did not lose anything.

I gained more (in every aspect of the word) than what I have originally envisioned for this school year.

I actually never planned on running for President. But when the opportunity presented itself, I grabbed the chance. It was a challenge. But I accepted. After all, I believe that I could do more. That I could do better. Because I believe in my capabities. And because I believe that there is room for CHANGE.

I am happy that people believed in me enough to nominate me for the position of the President of UPPhA. I am thankful that people want (and still want) me to be their President. Thank you!

It was really a great experience to run for Presidency. It was my first time to run for the student council and I really enjoyed! I am really proud that I was able to lead a group of young, fresh, talented, active, and driven student-leaders from the party of C.H.A.N.G.E.

With the result of the election, it is evident that the CP students voted those who are already in the council. Everyone in our party is a first-timer, except for Java. But I am happy that despite our being “newbies”, people still trusted and voted for us.

To our supporters, do not worry. πŸ™‚ For my projects, and also those of Jikki and Joc, will still be fulfilled. πŸ™‚

I just hope that they will be serving despite their political affiliations. As what we have been promoting in C.H.A.N.G.E., once in position, you should serve as a student-leader. Serve regardless of political affiliation. Because now, you only have one mission, and that is to serve and protect the interests of the students of the College of Pharmacy.

Once again, thank you. πŸ™‚

Hey, Moe. πŸ™‚ That's right. Stay happy 'cause there's no reason for you not to. I'm pretty sure that this experience taught you a lot in a lot of ways, and that whatever you learned may help you in serving the college, whether you're a part of the council or not. It's a win-win situation. :)Good luck! I think malapit na rin finals niyo. Toxic mode na naman sa college, as usual. Hehe. Happy aral always. πŸ™‚
